Last Roller Derby Home Game of 2023

Ottawa Valley Roller Derby will be holding our last full-contact roller derby event of the 2023 season at McNabb Arena in Centretown on Saturday, August 12th. If you want to catch the hard hitting action at home, this is your last chance!

The venue doors will open at 5:30pm and the game kicks off at 6pm. Bring your camping chairs for track side seating in the beer garden and to get up close and personal with the full-contact action! The game will consist of two 30-minute periods with a short half time.

Tickets $10 – available at the door (Kids 10 and under get in free. Limit 2 kids per adult, please).

McNabb Arena (180 Percy Street) 

This is a family-friendly and licensed event. We’re serving beer and cider starting at 5:30pm. Don’t forget your ID, and your camping chairs as alcohol is not permitted in the tiered seating.

Roller Derby Double Header in Ottawa on July 29

Ottawa Valley Roller Derby will be proudly presenting 2 flat-track full-contact roller derby games at McNabb Arena in Centretown on Saturday, July 29th, 2023.

In the first game, our WFTDA Charter team, the Rapids will be facing off against Toronto Roller Derby All-Stars. The details of the second game are getting ironed out, and we’ll be announcing the participants shortly. The venue doors will open at 5:30pm and the first game kicks off at 6pm. Bring your camping chairs for track side seating in the beer garden and get up close to the full-contact action!

Ottawa Valley Roller Derby will be presenting 2 flat-track roller derby games at Brewer Arena on Saturday, June 24th, 2023.

In the first game, the Ottawa Valley Rapids will be facing off against the Brute Leggers of Royal City Roller Derby in a sanctioned WFTDA game. Our second match will be a full-contact, pride-themed scrimmage. The doors will open at 5:30pm and the first game will kick off at 6pm. Bring your camping chairs for track side seating in the beer garden and get up close to the action!

Tickets $15 – available at the door (Kids 10 and under get in free. Limit 2 kids per adult, please).
Brewer Arena (151 Brewer Way)

This is a family-friendly and licensed event. We’re serving beer starting at 5:30pm. Don’t forget your ID, and your camping chairs because alcohol is not permitted in the tiered seating.

Start of game #2: 8pm (approximately) – Full-contact, Pride-themed Scrimmage
