Roller Derby 101 Spring/Summer 2019 Session

We are excited to announce that we are recruiting new skaters for our next session of Roller Derby 101 which will begin May 23, 2019

About the OVRD’s Roller Derby 101 program:

Classes will be on Thursdays from 7:00pm – 8:30pm at Brewer Arena (200 Hopewell Ave, Ottawa)

OVRD’s Spring/Summer 2019 session of Roller Derby 101 begins on Thursday, May 23rd and runs most Thursdays till August 15th – exception dates will be provided upon registration, as well as additional information.  The cost for the session is $230 (that includes the mandatory insurance.)

We offer a safe and welcoming space for you to develop your roller derby skills. Prior skating knowledge, of any kind, is an asset but definitely not a requirement.

Our training program is designed teach roller skating to new and novice adult skaters.

•  Learn to skate, stop, fall and hit safely
•  Open to all genders and gender expressions
•  Adults 18 + (Juniors are taught at a different program)
•  Just be willing to show up, have fun, and work hard
