What does the 2019 VIP Season Pass include?

The VIP Season Pass gets you into ALL 7 of the roller derby events we’ll be hosting this spring/summer. That’s admission to our 4 licensed Saturday Night events, our 3 House League Thursday Throwdowns. At each event you’ll be treated to the reserved seating area in the beer garden, a free beverage, and free soft pretzel at every event.

How to pick up your pass:

Arrive with photo ID at the doors of the first event and you’ll be presented with your 2019 VIP Season Pass. Once you’ve got a hold of it, your season pass is fully transferable to a friend or a love one if you are unable to attend one of the nights.

Double Header on May 25 at McNabb Arena

It’s a brand new season for the skaters of Ottawa Valley Roller Derby, and we are ready to Go, Go, GO! OVRD is proud to present the first home event of 2019, a full-contact double header on Saturday, May 25th at McNabb Arena. The first game pits OVRD’s Byward Bs against Kingston Roller Derby. The second game is a OVRD House league battle: Centre Block against East Block. You won’t want to miss a minute of either of these exciting games.

This is a family-friendly, licensed event. Bring your camping chairs and settle in to the Kichesippi Beer Garden. Don’t forget your I.D., so you can partake in the fine local craft beer available for purchase.

Admission is $10 with tickets available at the door (Kids 10 and under get in free. Limit 2 kids per adult, please).

Doors will open at 5:30pm.

Start of game #1: 6pm (Two 30 minute periods)
OVRD Byward B vs. Kingston Roller Derby

Start of game #2: 8pm (Two 30 minute periods)
Centre Block vs. East Block. (House League Match)

The Ottawa Valley All-Stars (our WFTDA Charter A-Team) are off to Tri-City Roller Derby’s annual invitational: Put Up Your Toques 2019. This is a WFTDA Recognized Tournament held in Waterloo, ON on May 4th and 5th, 2019.
