Roller Derby Double Header in Ottawa on May 31

Ottawa Valley Roller Derby will be presenting their 2025 season opener on Saturday, May 31st with two full-contact flat-track roller derby games taking place at St. Laurent Complex.

In the first game, the incredible players of Ottawa Junior Roller Derby will be facing off against the Kingston Roller Derby Juniors. Our second game will feature our House League teams: Valley Cats vs. Street Rats. These two rivals be facing off all season, culminating in a final house league championship on August 16th. 

Tickets: $15 – available at the door (Kids 10 and under get in free. Limit 2 kids per adult, please).
Location: St. Laurent Complex (525 Côté Street)
Time: The doors will open at 5:30pm, and the first game will kick off at 6pm.

This is a family-friendly and licensed event. We’re serving Broadhead Beer as well as various ciders and hard seltzers in the Beer Garden starting at 5:30pm. Don’t forget your ID, and your camping chairs because alcohol is not permitted in the tiered seating.

Start of game #2: 8pm (approximately) – OVRD House League Battle: Valley Cats vs. Street Rats
