Roller Derby Volunteer Appreciation Picnic
Rideau Valley Roller Derby and Capital City Derby Dolls are holding a Roller Derby Volunteer Appreciation Picnic. We’re inviting anyone who’s volunteered at a roller derby event in Ottawa this season to join us in celebration.

Roller derby in the National Capital Region has thrived for 10 years due to an incredible group of volunteers both on and off skates. Please join RVRD and CCDD for some informal fun in the sun as we celebrate volunteers, referees and officials on Saturday August 26th at Vincent Massey Park.
Who’s invited:
Volunteers, Sponsors, Referees, NSOs, Skaters of RVRD and CCDD and all your families.
When:
Saturday August 26th / 11am- 4pm
Where:
Vincent Massey Park (Heron and Riverside Drive)
There is parking (but it’s not free)
The park is directly on the Riverside bike path.
Accessible by OC Transpo Bus #118 or #87.
Food:
BBQ Picnic and potluck provided by the skaters!
Fun Times:
Silly party games for kids and adults!
